Flexibility. Dedicated to safety. Great benefits.
Cons
Project specialists have big heads and think they are engineers. Sometimes not willing to push the envelope on a project in order to get the sale.

People is good. Time for family.
Some human errors happens in works
No one has very high expectations, the fact that you can fog a mirror is pretty much applauded Benefits are decent (if you can get into a doctor in the area)
Location (Lehigh Valley) is the worst place if you are a single professional. Doctors and dentists take 3 months to get into, specialists take up to 8 months. There is absolutely no night life Company: Not challenged at all. Management expects you to only be a warm body to refresh reports no one uses to make decisions. Fortune 500 company that is closing it's books using MS Excel. CEO speaks out of both sides of his mouth. In the earnings calls he says "Employees are the #1 resource at Air Products", then he turns around and lays off 500 people with 2500 more to go. Lack of innovation - the only way this company can find to lower costs is to lay people off... there certainly is a better way. If you are in finance, you really are a management accountant, not a financial analyst. They don't want you to put any thought into your work, they just want a spreadsheet monkey. Operational analysis is a joke - it is only used to feed the investor relations department, no business managers use it to make any strategic decisions. Project analysis is an even bigger joke, which is why the company has been stagnant for 15 years.
Shift work 12 hours day/night
No advancement unless someone retires
Great pay. Great people.
Used to be a great place to work however a hostile takeover by Bill Ackman is shaking up the company. Thousands have been laid off for corporate greed. No job security anymore.
Happy work environment, I learned a lot about working as part of a team and as an individual. Helped me learn to work in a fast paced environment.
Bosses are demanding, job is mentally draining, it can be physically stressful, they squeeze everything they can get out of you as an employee
Great salary package and enhance career growth
Fast paced company so need to have a good survival skills
There is no way this company will fire you once you get in. So, if you have no ambition, this is for you.
Absolutely no way to make career based on performance. Performance review does not exist (maybe on paper). No proper KPIs. People being promoted without first publishing job opening, so others can apply and try their luck. Demotivating whole teams by keeping incompetent employees on the payroll. Inadequate pay.
New technology exposure; multiple regions plants; continuous procedural development
More workload; dynamic nature of projects which results in lack of planning
Good benefits, salary, and bonuses.
Bad work environment. Supervisors are sneaky and underhanded and do not look out for their employees.
