Used to be good, honestly. We loved to come to work back then.
•The company requires employees to pay a 10% co-payment for hospital bills, a policy that undermines employee welfare, especially during times of need. Speaking about welfare, don’t expect HR to be checking on your condition when you’re sick. They aren’t bothered about it. •HR, which should prioritize employee well-being, often lacks empathy and fails to address worker concerns adequately. •A specific HR staff member, tasked with disciplinary actions, demonstrates unprofessional behavior, including inappropriate attire (e.g., crop tops, slippers, and sandals). Despite these breaches of conduct, her actions go unchecked due to favouritism and connections with the most senior and top tier individual in KL office. And the top management in Sydney. . This individual openly boasts about her authority to terminate employees and demands respect through fear rather than earning it. . Employees who voice dissatisfaction or concerns become targets, facing retaliation in the form of scrutiny and eventual dismissal for minor errors. . This particular employee who openly violates the rules also has the ability to question the client's internal management team in Malaysia on why we were not in the office despite client’s side higher management has agreed to let the staffs to wfh. She should not be bothering a big client like us as we have our own management and we report to our management and not her. The fact that she is only a generalist but she questions and behaves like a Manager of H R sort of makes everything sounding not right. . Little did she know terminating staffs could lead to loss of business for the company, and on top of it to even add more sweetness to the cake, she often override client's management when terminating staff which is something saddening.

Experience working within a multinational company
The company promotes work–life balance, but in practice, the environment is highly micromanaged. I was not informed by my team leader about my termination and only learned of it later through HR. Despite handling multiple tasks assigned by the company, my efforts were not appreciated and were used as grounds for termination. One week before my last day, my system access was cut off, and I was accused of abandoning my work, even though I logged in regularly. ASW did not pay me for both my final week and my unused annual leave. Additionally, my request for a salary increment was denied without clear justification. The company also showed bias by failing to take any action regarding misconduct committed by the team leader. Although the company is based in Australia, much of the management is located in the Philippines, which has resulted in weak management and unclear objectives. Without a doubt, this is the worst company I have ever worked for.
