Atos is a good place to build an IT career. There are significant growth in clients here and this offers opportunities for employees to grow as well. Our alliance with EMC seems to be gaining market traction and making a difference
The market is not aware of Atos to the extent it could be. Our clients know the competitors more and as a result - Atos has to fight for brand recognition and attention. this places more burdens on our business development staff to seek and prospect for opportunities.
Anonymous employee
most employees are 100 percent virtual which is a pro and the initial allure
Would not recommend this company to anyone! There are some good employees and good technology to work on but the company has no concept of work/ life balance Workers go years without even a cost of living increase Virtually zero merit or salary increases 55/60+ hour work weeks plus weekends are often the norm Understaffed in every group Zero work/life balance Multiple furloughs
It technical recruiter
Professional Management and Staff
No Cons so far. Easy to work with the accounts
Coworkers are diverse, knowledgeable and friendly Remote work available Good work-life balance These are the only reasons I stayed as long as I did
The company seems to have no clue what it's doing in North America. Executive management is a revolving door, so there's no real strategy other than a top-down cost over quality approach. Instead of fixing organizational problems to save money, there have been rounds of furlough, layoffs, and outsourcing. The company doesn't care about its employees, and many good long-time employees get laid off or leave. Because of this, employees are stressed and stretched thin to try to fill the resulting gaps in business knowledge and technical skills. The pay is average and I went years without so much as a cost of living increase. High performance isn't rewarded. In my experience, going above and beyond got me many more responsibilities without a raise or opportunity to advance. Overall, the company asks you to do more and more with less and less.
Nothing is good to mention here
No Hike or no good management policy

Relax work environment. Vacation times.
Managers don't care about your problems. You can't get what you deserve even if they promise. You don't have any opportunities for your personal growth
Nice projects and nice colleagues
job promotion hard to find
Second level it support
You're not collecting JSA, Although often enough I thought it may have been better
Management do not listen to the employees. You are less than even a number you are a tool. No chance of skill development. They have a budget but nobody is willing to spend it. If you want to train to be better then your management will not spend the budget on allowing you to move into another area of the firm. Then where you want to get to will not spend their budget on you when they can employ some poor unsuspecting fool who is already skilled. I was dissatisfied with the new model Atos put forward to us. The management response was "if you don't like it, leave", so I left.
