Company phone and generous annual leave.
No members of the APAC management team have local market ties; they are all from outside the region. Leadership intends to evolve the firm from a staffing agency for HSBC into a true consulting firm. The banking and wealth management endeavor was a complete failure. It continues to be an HSBC body shop after 3 years. An insurance partner was hired to aid their expansion into the insurance industry. This individual was supposed to be well-connected with Hong Kong’s main insurance companies. A year on and still without any significant wins in the insurance domain. Advancement and assignments depend entirely on connections and mentorship, not merit. Some people, despite being on bench for over a year, still received promotions. Wipro’s 2023 annual report shows APAC had approximately a US$15 million loss. Wipro needs a new APAC management team.
It anaylst
Good company but less growth but has good clients
Less annual hike but good allowance
Associate consultant
Its a chill consulting firm, there will be some bouts of downtime when you are on the bench. As an associate, the project work is not too intensive, basic Powerpoint, note taking, etc.
Its been 2 years I am assoc. consultant, and I have not been promoted. Everytime that conversation comes up -- there is always "room for improvement" were on a rating scale, and to get promoted you have to score a "5" and I have scored "3/4.3" project managers are extremely reluctant to give a score of 5, for whatever reason. They want to make an excuse to pay you assoc. pay, while you work and operate as a consultant/ senior consultant.
Salary and benefits were good for Germany Relatively lean cross-territory politics Relatively good work-life balance for the industry
Leadership is very rank and hierarchy driven Often inefficient/ non-lean processes Very little diverse representation Lack of management transparency
Anonymous employee
Great company to work with good work life balance offers lot of oppertunities to grow if one is really willing to steer the career
Over a period of time salary percentage increase has decreased, maybe due to recent acquisition
Executive assistant
good facilities in the office
lift always broken, unhappy EA's, who support directors who do not change.

small consultancy, tough to grow
Managing principal
Comp is equal to market
Capco likes to talk deia but when it comes down to it they are so far from the mark. Putting programs into place and classes but All of senior leadership are straight white guys - with a few token symbolic leaders that are put in a corner- is hardly advocacy. If you work here go in knowing you are disposable. There will be no development, onboarding is a joke, HR is useless and has no seat at the table. Client work is tedious, not strategic and not interesting. Capco has no strategy on the client side. There are no deep SME’s; only mid level deck makers.
