Senior consultant i
Friendly environment - BFSI projects
Not many accounts - Possible to get stuck without much learning oppurtunities - Promotions would favour the seniors more and they are a close knit unit
Senior consultant
Good people to work with
People with same level have significantly varying levels of experience
Associate consultant
None, really. Signed the contract in 2021 and the pay stayed the same all the way to the end of 2023.
Pay is way too low for the amount of work that you might or might not be doing. You’re practically working two parallel jobs - one for the client and one for the Capco’s internal community. Under constant threat of being cut if you’re not on a project - the cuts never seemed to end.

Good comp to work at
Depends on project to project
Principal consultant
Company offers Global clients, Consulting work of bigger firms; flexibility and personal touch of small organisation. I am working with the company for close to 7 years now and happy with the way my career path been shaped by this company. Work is more in transformation areas for global clients where you get to be part of strategic initiatives helping clients achieve their milestones. Company does hear the voice of employees and makes many positive changes in policies and working style to meet employee expectations. Leaders have good values and are approachable. Thinking differently is encouraged. Equality, Diversity and Inclusion are not only terms we hear here but these are also reflected in hiring, promotions, recognition and team management. Recommended for those who are self motivated, driven and would want to explore working in diverse autonomous environment where you can drive initiatives yourselves which can help shaping the company for better.
Should add few more clients in India to offer mobility across clients/ locations (this is something which can be done easily in bigger companies)
Consultant
Can’t think of any, maybe office location
No progression, politics, body shop rather than consultancy
- Open and supportive work environment. - Social culture. - Plenty of learning opportunities (online courses, open days, communities). - Respectful and trusting clients. - Kind and respectful colleagues. - Good work/life balance. - Your career path is what is you make of it; don't expect a structured progression framework.
- For consultants and associate consultants, the lack of a structured career progression framework may feel a little daunting (promotion objectives exist, but not all managers have sufficient experience managing people which means junior consultants can feel like they are left to fend for themselves). - I've been very happy working on the same client account since joining Capco, but there are limited opportunities to move around. Projects can span months and if the client likes you, they will do their best to retain you on the project.
Strong culture of teamwork and open communication Plenty of opportunities for professional development and career growth Supportive management that encourages innovation and learning Collaborative environment where ideas are valued Good work-life balance and flexible working arrangements
Occasionally high workload during peak project periods. Communication across sectors can sometimes be challenging to navigate.
Good culture. Nice office. Great people
Bench time is the worst
Good work life balance, remote work opportunity
Pay needs to be improved
