- Met some great people at Capco who I have still kept in touch with
- If you’re not on a contract role and on the bench for over 4 months you are considered as being at risk. Unfortunately if you’re not billing, the company will see no use for you. - There is no transparency or direction for roles available presently or in the future. They have a portal where you can apply for roles but when you’re a UX designer these specialist role’s don’t get listed often. - You hear rhetorics about how we’re doing well and we having nothing to worry about. But when you see people departing regularly, you have to start questioning things. In the past month or 2 around 6 people supposedly left the team. - People higher up who are well connected and part of the leadership team are safe. - They use the pretence of doing work on the bench to test you out and let you go if you make minor faults. They will find any excuse.
Good company and great people
Promotion cycles can be political
Brush up with colleagues from a huge variety of background, Great to test your "can do anything" skills
Expect to be assigned to a project you don't know anything about
Data consultant
There's some great people in the company, good learning opportunities, an environment that encourages people to step up and make the most of themselves.
You can get put on a bad project with little control and have no hope of getting off it within a year or so. Management don't reward good work very well
Associate
Opportunities to learn & grow on the job
None I can think of at the moment.
People, non-financial benefits, community, hybrid working
You can achieve top performance scores across all categories and won’t achieve a salary increase or more than 7% bonus Lack of opportunity to specialise- you’ll be put in any open role, regardless of preference
Capco really embodies their #Beyourselfatwork culture. Everyone is supportive, encouraging and approachable, especially the senior leadership team, every door is open. In the last year I've seen loads of great examples of Capco recognising and growing their consultants in house with pilots running for Women in Leadership in Scotland along with opportunities for free training & qualifications. It really is a great place to work and for me really looking forward to progress my career with Capco.
I cant think of any cons at present.
