Good culture, you have the liberty to own your career, choose projects, Senior management approachable and supportive
Promotion process is extremely tedious, people are not motivated to grow the business, too much focus on numbers vs being promoted for being a high performer

Good work culture and peers.
Less opportunities to excel in your career.
Honestly, I can't find anything.
I worked at CAPCO for only a year and half and it was my shortest time ever spent with a company and the main reason was the extreme toxic environment. The competition amongst consultants makes the company extremely dysfunctional and demotivating. Egos are at the same time inflated and fragile, making cooperation the rarest thing you'll see in the office. To exemplify, I was present when a colleague was in a call with a most senior consultant to get advices on a specific project. While the senior consultant was explaining something, my colleague mentioned he had had a problem (about the audio). Immediately, the senior consultant shouted (yes, shouted!) that if he was having a problem with anything that was being presented, he could ask someone else and stop wasting everyone's time. And hung out. That is how fragile and inflated egos can get over there. Additionally, in this 1.5 year, I had 3 different managers and 2 CEOs, so needless to say how lost we all felt.

Stability - Long standing clients - good job security
Difficult to get promoted when working in large Capco teams. That said there are stand alone roles that will allow you to establish yourself. There is quite a few resource augmentation roles, however you can use these roles to bring your own value.

-Lots of fun events good co workers smart people -pay is above average -benefits are good
-No clear promotion plan you just need a coach who is going to fight for you if you don't have that, good luck next time, some people get promoted in 6 months some people have been there for years with no promotion in sight. In order to get promoted the seniors join this "round table" where your coach has to fight for you to get promoted, even though your coach has no idea how well you are doing on your project. -No training at all throw you in a project that you have 0 experience in and expect you to do well, if you express concerns they brush it off. -Bench the dumbest concept ever, you have to fight to get into projects you wanna be on, if you don't you will be stuck on bench until you are forced on to a project that you don't enjoy. You have to compete for projects with co workers if you are new good luck the senior co workers are guaranteed the better projects. -Company revolves around "community work" if you are working long hours on your project and don't have time for "community work" that sucks good luck getting a promotion next year. -Lay-offs they ask you to join a call randomly, tell you you are getting laid off give you the "its not you its us speech" cut off all communication and you never get to say good bye to any co workers. 0 sincerity or respect for anyone, also before lay offs occurred they promised everyone that they are strong financially and don't expect the recession to cause and layoffs. What a great way to get our guard down so you can stab us in the back. -Not the most ethical organization, they always try to sell a solution that they can implement and when projects don't go well no one will take accountability -Want a bonus? sorry its completely subjective -Overall, organization is a very dry swim or sink organization and depending on your coach, project and who likes you determines your success not your actual performance on the project.

The company has a strong portfolio of banking and financial services clients, offering opportunities to work on challenging and high-visibility projects. Career growth is possible for those who take initiative, and a few managers are genuinely supportive and help employees develop professionally.
However, the HR policies are not very employee-friendly. Employees are sometimes placed on garden leave without much transparency, and there’s a lack of proactive engagement from the HR team — for example, one-on-one sessions are not regularly scheduled, which can leave employees feeling disconnected.

Good company to work/life balance
You would be moved to any other project any time

Most people in lower levels are awesome
- They attach community service as 20% of your yearly performance as a way to not promote people. - Pay is on the 5 percentile($20-25k) below market. - Upper management does not care about your career, only profits. - They call employees family(Huge red flag) - They lie through their teeth - Forced 3 days a week in the office with the same salary as remote
