Pay is on the low side. Rarely opportunity for overtime.

Not a lot of support if you work with offshore team

None. They are a great company to work for.

The culture has gone downhill in the past 10+ years. There is no diversity and it’s run by a frat of middle aged white guys who are mean, disrespectful, and dishonest. Unless you’re one of “them” you have no hope for a successful and enjoyable career at Chubb. The politics and mean spirited culture is mind boggling and progressively got worse.

Longer work hours or may be hard to take time off as you move up.

Recently sold to another company who likes to do things their way

Management, specifically in the Workers' Compensation department are rude and disrespectful. The way employees are talked down to openly is a disgrace to Chubb. Even after multiple complaints and a plethora of employees leaving Chubb completely or switching departments, nothing changes for the better. The positions that are left open and not filled timely creates two to three peoples work for one person. Though management is aware of this you will still be held to the same work product and standards. Management turns a cheek to hourly employees who work overtime without pay as if they are unaware. Salary employees are burnt out as there is no work-life balance. Management will then threaten the work from home and bonuses to be taken away. It is boarderline harassment. It is disappointing that in what should be a professional environment, the management act like children the way they gossip, bully and are untrustworthy. Without a doubt this is the worst work environment I have ever experienced.

It's a very large corporation, so communication between departments can sometimes take extra effort.

No real flexibility. Poor management.

Old fashioned and bonuses are rare.

Too hierachical in the teams

Tedious hours of making 150 calls or even 200 calls per day to make your sales

Working hours are long due to global offices Work is reactive and not pro active The organisation is so big that it takes a long time to understand processes and owners

Bad systems - easy to get lost in the shuffle

Workflows are always changing for the worse. Efficiencies are introduced then rescinded. Period of very high turnover which leaves more work for those who are behind.

They need to adapt the work from home model, office needs remodeling. Outdated furniture, computers, and office layout. I feel like I'm stuck in the 90's

* Hard work counts for nothing, its all about who you know and smoke with. * The level of micro management is off the chart,it is strongly discouraged to do anything without the entire IT leadership reviewing first (which often takes days for a simple change). * Lower level colleagues are great, but there is a big blame culture, nobody wants to sign off or make a decision without the one person at the top. If your project goes wrong the team quickly turn and begin to blame each other to shield themselves from the IT leadership. * The leadership for this department are very young and lack experience as managers, this shows when they are faced with challenges that requires professionalism and a level of finesse. * The team is constantly putting up roadblocks to avoid allowing the US to implement global initiatives for the better of the company. * If you do not conform or you have a different opinion then you are outcast from the clique at the top, you will find yourself singled out and outcast as the cool kids are given over the top recognition and move up.

Salary and bonus could be a bit higher.

Demanding environment but this is in line with the degree of excellence that they provide to clients/partners

Turnover is so high, you get slammed with the work of people who left, and then it takes 3 months of training to get a new employee up and running. bte the training is BS and a waste of time. i learned more from asking my coworkers for help than i did from the training. They pay awful, but if you are a son or daughter of upper management, you get paid more than anyone in the entire department so figure that one out. They are one of the lowest paying employers in the industry from what ive seen, they treat their employees poorly. the list goes on.

Workload was sometimes shallow Work was very repetitive

Remote erea somehow but not bad

it is Chubb in name only. Ace bought 'old' Chubb and kept the name hoping to cash in on the old Chubb prestige. People are now overworked and senior management only interested in cashing in. underpay compared to comparable sized companies. key mantra is 'management does not care what employees have to say'. Example: 'new' Chubb had a survey and never shared the results or acted on any things that people complained about.

Laid back. Legacy system pain of migration

Ops/IT is like working in the Trump administration.... constant change of roles, responsibilities, reporting lines and bullying tactics from leadership. Not a pleasant place to feel appreciated, be prepared to be denigrated and not valued. The entire environment had become one of no collaboration and just back stabbing.
