Abysmal increment and bonus rates. HR is extremely inefficient.

There were a lot of customers and long hours

Call handle times are at a miniunm

Mass layoffs; Poor communication from senior management; Poor planning internally and everything (core functions) are always rushed

Lack of opportunities & promotions to management soley based on meeting job metrics despite prospective candidates lacking people skills & managerial skills leading to a team of "mindless administrators" instead of true "leaders" able to build teams and improve the company.

no christmas staff do so very hard to socialise outside of work

Not much growth in technical side

Being in banking too many redundant manual activities, should try to learn from the Indian Bank in terms of techno development

work-life balance is not good

Pay not as competitive. Bonus are low. Little career progression

Focus on too small thing and dirty work everyday

Teams are scattered across world, no team meets, IT top lvl management less updated with latest tech and expects boot licking

No good team environment in HR function. Micromanagement from senior manager, monitoring each other, no datas from previous years and people keep leaving from HR. No chances for junior members to grow and expand its capabiltiy in this company.

Must go to office and massive layoffs

Often a cut throat environment. Integrity is only a concern when it is convenient.

Very Large Firm and complicated organizational structure. PM work is very cumbersome with lots of oversight

Commute is far but it’s wort it

Serious challenges and a real mix of very smart and unqualified people unfortunately as a result of the boom hiring. Loads of talented smart people but just as many who had no business being hired during the rush for headcount. A lot of deadweight from people who are exploiting the chaos to very intentionally do nothing. You have people that mgrs have been afraid to touch for any number of reasons who are very intentionally carving out permanent part-time schedules on full-time salaries and being very bold with their lies across multiple internal organizations. It makes it a challenge to people who do want to execute and fix things.

Top-down management style Successful employees manage up only Work expectation is seven days a week / 24 hours a day, holidays too Work Life Balance non existent Internal systems poorly developed and managed Employee morale is at an all time low Company is solely focused on Risk and Control Governance - at the employee's expense

1. Process wise very poor 2. Onboarding is tough, needs lot of approvals for different accesses - Use of many internal frameworks and tools for which you wont get any help on google. - Management is not good

Inefficient & bureaucratic in some parts of the bank, but hopefully that will improve

Not much career progression on the team

- Complex matrix structure resulting in tons of decision makers

Not sending money on agreed price

1. You’ll get under qualified individuals who have no idea how to manage 2. Seems Mississauga office only hires based on racial familiarity (seen an org with 60 people all being indian, dont even know how that can be allowed) 3. HR is useless

Messy management, poorly onboarding supportive

Employee Benefits are less compared to other companies

Its a large corporation, they all suck.

Perks are not that much compared to other foreign banks

Bonuses are low in non Finance Roles

Very large can get lost in the shuffle

Politics sometimes can take over

Hard to find promotion opportunities

Longer working hours Less work life balance for some teams

Culture in the industry is very defined.
