Good benefits good boss and events
.long hours office could be better
Anonymous employee
The only pro I can think of is some of the friendships I made during my time there.
This company has no idea what it's doing. I have never worked with such incompetent leaders unwilling to meet their employees where they are. They are averse to process and documentation and there is zero accountability for anything. There is no team culture and everyone is out for themselves. Highly skilled individuals aren't in positions that utilize their skillsets because Leaders don't care. I knew I deserved better and have experienced better at every other employer I've worked for. This bank is too big to fail and too big to function.
They pay nice and you can work in different areas.
They should have more cafeterias
Universal banker
Supportive coworkers A lot of employee benefits
Really bad management Nearly no increase in hourly pay after a year of service Very hard to take vacation No work life balance
Senior sourcing analyst
The benefits are decent and standard.
Pay needs to be reevaluated and bonus structure. Citi tends to always lag behind major competitors. Citi will lose talent once the economy gets better.
Retail sales associate
good environment, good work life balance
Pay rate is not as competitive as other international banks

Citi is finally setting it's trajectory to catch up with the another large US banks like JPMC, Morgan Stanley. Some people are really smart and take complete ownership. Incorporates latest market technologies and focus on engineering excellence. Fantastic leave policy. No micromanagement whatsoever.
Hikes are below average compared to similar banks. Senior management need to be more open for feedback. Less opportunities to grow internally. Zero onsite opportunities. Work life balance is a hit or miss.
