Citi is great for work / life balance. They offer a reasonable hybrid schedule. There tons of unexpected benefits from discounts on your mobile phone bill to pet insurance. There are many opportunities for growth, whether an employee would like to move up within their current team or go to another team entirely. Citi has a very strong employee mobility platform and encourages its employees to move around the bank globally. And having been around for over 200 years, it has stood the test of time in the financial services industry.
The bureaucracy and red tape can be frustrating. Change takes a long time to occur at Citi. Their systems tend to be outdated or they modify a great platform and in the process make it clunky and inefficient. You are just a number and regardless of your contributions to the organization, you can be cut without any thought to your annual ratings, tenure, institutional knowledge or even the tasks you perform.
Personal banker
Benefits are above average of the industry.
The new hire training and ongoing trainings are poor. You have to learn everything yourself.

Vice president
Wrok-life balance. I've never once on my team received so much as a blink of an eye when life calls or when asking for a prolonged vacation (provided I have the PTO to expend). It's extremely liberating for a fortune 50 company to be this lenient in my prior experience.
Read your news headlines. I feel secure, but others in other business functions may not enoy that luxury.
good work-life balance and benefits
bad culture and no emphasis on employee growth
You can work with some of really smart people and learn a lot
Work life balance not great
