Junior embedded software engineer
Working as a Junior Software Developer at Continental on an embedded project was a good experience overall. The environment was welcoming and supportive — people were open to integrating newcomers into projects and meetings from early on, which helped me learn a lot, both technically and about how the team operates. There was always something new to dive into, and the team was approachable whenever I needed guidance or wanted to get involved.
One thing to keep in mind is that, at least in my case, growth opportunities within the company felt a bit limited. While it’s a great place to build skills and gain experience, moving up to new roles or taking on significantly bigger responsibilities didn’t seem very accessible at the time. Overall, it’s a solid place to start your career if you’re looking for a good learning environment with supportive colleagues.
Technical specialist
The work culture is good. And relation with counterparts are great.
Apart from some manager's attitude, the company as a whole is good.
Machine operator
Good people. Overtime available. Safe work practices
Management at odds with workers. Management prolonged new pay system deal for over a year. Management withdrew offer to backpay in final deals for pay system. Middle management picks favourite's, unprofessional in dealing with workers
