- Work Life Balance - Compensation - Technology - Work Culture
No Onsight opportunity, rest no cons
Analyst
Great balance of work and life
Slow growth and networking opportunities
Senior inside sales account
Upward mobility (if there at the right time) On the job training Great benefits Good flexibility
Constant changes to pay structure - I have not been under the same compensation plan for more than two quarters in a row since I got here. Consistent layoffs / fear of layoffs Much of your success (currently) depends upon the account set you are given, which can change at any time.
Software engineer
- work life balance - competitive salary (in Texas)
- full on-site - can be repetitive work
Account executive

large corporate company with no career trajectory in place
Corporate affairs
Decent pay. Literally no other pros.
The culture at Dell is garbage, worst I have ever seen. You will burn out very quickly doing 2-3 people's jobs because of no backfills. Leadership is incompetent and will place someone that's only ever been an individual contributor over a team of 12 - 14 people as a people leader. More than 50% of my team quit or was laid off over the course of a year. You are losing talent over the ridiculous RTO threats, bonus and benefits manipulations, poor leadership, and AI mismanagement. I would never ever ever recommend Dell as an employer. Not even worth the pay.
