Now I believe consulting has lost it's glamour. Long hours with no travels, hotels, incentives. The company is always saving, lost the focus on employees.

The federal market has tightened significantly. There are too many people competing for too few roles, and this is especially brutal at the senior level. Despite the messaging about "valuing people," the reality is "eat what you kill." If you aren't billable during, support evaporates quickly.

Overloading can be expected. And the business trip accommodation standards are very low... 400 yuan for the top four cities, 300 yuan for others. Sometimes, the standard will be cut under 250 yuan per night.
