Career pathing can be ambiguous in marketing, but I was able to be promoted within my same team over just a couple of year, showing growth, value in my new role and leadership. It’s not a place you can come, put in your time and expect to be rewarded. The business overall seems to be getting more and more volatile, so there can be a lot of unease that goes around because of it.

Bureaucracy and red tape can slow execution, especially on certain contracts. Levels of micromanagement vary widely by project and leadership. The volume of required trainings can feel excessive and sometimes disconnected from day-to-day work. Some upper management lacks technical depth, which can lead to unrealistic expectations, misaligned priorities, and decisions driven more by ego than delivery.

Work is super hectic. Tranings are a bit much and not even relavent to the role. I am not sure where the issue is but every project has some aggressive deadlines. You are always running at full speed every time. Burn out guarenteed after 2 years for sure.

There are way too many compliance hoops to jump through and a cut throat culture. Partners/PPMD's treat SC's and below as disposable; missing your scheduled meetings twice in a row is a common practice.
