too much workload for a single person

Sometimes overworked but manageable with planning

- Low career progression due to the sg team will only provide a simple task like vouching and low risk area of FSLI eventho u at senior level - weird engagement booking such as you're being book for company A for one week and next week move to the company B and the following week being book again for company A for 1-2 days - freeze any kinds of ALs during peak period Jan-May despite Malaysia has major festive celebrations such as CNY and Hari Raya (which unacceptable as we only able to celebrate once a year) it is non- nego ALs despite we can deliver tasks on time. - inconsistent management policy every year which make hard for employees to do advance planning - Low guidance from sg team that you work with. mostly you need to figure out things by yourself (not recommend fresh grad to apply) - micromanage of management toward staff as their trust issue so low such as checking report attendance those who coming to office or wfh - there are so many wrong with these and i'm glad i left the company

Everything is cons here, I don't see any better things

shift timings are odd, mostly late night

It used to be a great place to work in until change in leadership couple of years back. Very slow career progress, expectation is always to operate on next level but salary is below market standards. Recently, there has been rising cases of micro management.

Highly depend on global firm. Less authority

Consulting is a changing industry. We will see how firms like Deloitte position themselves in the future.

- Up or out - Influence can be tough - bouncing around a lot - trying to find you people can be tough

Less appraisal for consecutive 2 years

The appraisals are not good

Be weary of layoffs have a different plan incase Deloitte doesnt sponsor PERM. As of 2026, Deloitte has paused PERM since 2022

Too much emphasis on visibility

Salary will be less for campus hires

Bad pay no bonus at all

Less pay compared to other big firms.

Sometimes at the bench after end of project or contract.
