There were certainly good people who were trying to contribute positively and help out whenever they can.
- Toxic work culture and poor leadership. Some colleagues would undermine people's work, make divisive comments to create tension and drama in the team, and made mean and racist remarks about others in the open! Those people were, unfortunately, the loud and the hypocrite ones. At the same time, the executives and managers were around (open office) and didn’t even stop it. Not much healthy communication among teams and lots of favouritism happening there.

Very complex matrix organizational structure creating a lack of accountability. Poor communication between departments. People work in silos. Management does not treat its employees well.
Good performer will be rewarded accordingly but you must be really good at what you are doing to avoid being victimized.
More and more westerner from regional role/consultant are coming in for improvement per se and sometime it's resources consuming to jive along with the progress amidst existing task.

Relatively low salary. Poor working environment, cockroaches at office; small and dirty toilets; need to queue for water dispenser in the morning; and the microwave/the sink during lunch time for around 10-15mins. Team admin is unfriendly and rude.
