Met some nice colleagues who suffered together.
Bosses and Superiors are Professional bullies who are all out to make your life difficult. These are some of the Professional qualities they have. 1. Micro-management - Expect one to reach office on time, and OT frequently so their money paid to you are worth it. They will always be watching you secretly. At 6pm, you will see their heads popping out of their cubicles to check on you. 2. Unrealistic expectations - Expect you to do what they want without talking to you. They also expect you to complete tasks they're lazy to do in a very short time, and call it tests. 3. Bad Leadership - You will not be praised nor recognized for any outstanding work. Only criticisms and threats when they finally talk to you. The rest you can join to find out and experience first hand yourself
No Pros. Free Lunch Friday maybe?
Put you in PIP for a course that may take you up to 1 year to study. only give you 2 months to take the Cert
Friendly recep Nice pantry Great amount of leave
Micro-managing No proper training for newcomers Rude manager Leaves you alone You are always alone! No support Expect you to be good in a blink of eye Pay is much lower than competitor and work load is intensive. High turnover rate
People are generally nice and easy to work with, and teams work collaboratively. There's free bento lunches on Mondays and Fridays too!
Company seems to be growing and expanding horizontally. Not much space or opportunity for career growth and promotion.
Relaxed work culture, no micro-management culture, rather comfortable office, decent pantry
Despite being a young company, there aren't amenities such as foosball table, etc when I worked there. However, it's a trivial matter.
Great team to work with
Unable to go to office if you are working in on-site
Nothing to mention about it
-Certain elitists that will look down on group of people and favoritism in the company is real. -Not from local university? Find somewhere else, certain elitists reject. -No proper guidance, even some does not even know what they are doing half the time. -Swamped with projects, almost no time to teach newbies given the steep learning curve. -Not expecting hand-holding but leads/managers should be more proactive in setting realistic targets instead of focusing on revenues. -Too busy till it feels unapproachable to enquire issues. -Expect you to be good in a blink of eye -Some questionable elitists up the hierarchy. I've seen third hand of a leader treating an employee with so much fake sincerity and also infamously known for that personality trait. -They know how to speak like they know what's going on but upon closer inspection, none of what they say makes any sense and makes other people do the work instead because they simply do not have the skill. -Strong politics, extreme favoritism. -Do not buy HR or anything they told you in the interview to trick you in. (training, mentorship, advancement) -Welcome to the Military.
- Amazing colleagues who are very supportive - Revamped processes in place to streamline and consolidate different tasks
- None that i can think of for now
ovarall it is not so bad
- slow career progression if work here
