upper management demanded a lot from our direct managers, things that were out of our control. managers won't promote people if fear that their role can't be filled. hired people who weren't physically capable of doing their job so that responsibility fell on everyone else.

Workload is very high to sustain

Management don't want you to visit your hometown. So if you're not from Bangalore then this company is not for you.

Lots of cost cutting, don't feel the growth opportunities in the US since most roles get posted in EU to save money.

Rampant office politics that thrive on favoritism and manipulation. Employees are constantly undermined, and merit means nothing. Inappropriate workplace relationships create a hostile and uncomfortable environment. You're expected to play along with the toxic culture or risk being sidelined. The talent team is shockingly unresponsive — reaching out via LinkedIn or Teams is a waste of time. They seem more invested in long cafeteria chats than actually helping employees. No accountability, no professionalism, and no respect for employee wellbeing.

Work is deteriorating year by year and not getting improvement in the work structure instead adding manual task within just to save in the so called audit. It has become a very bad for the work life balance and learning side which just rotting our mind to do unwanted stuff which no organisation will follow.

After the induction, new joiner should be Sent for field training.

Working hours will be flexible and sometimes can be lengthy - need to get it done. Some top-down instruction should be expected. Tight deadlines, quite many quick turnarounds is expected.

Haleon used to be a place with good work life balance and rewards great work. It’s not like that anymore. There was a lot of changes in upper management, and as a result, the culture went downhill drastically. Gas lighting, discrimination, burnout, all happened within 0.5 year. For any job seekers out there, get to know the team you are interviewing for if possible. It’s not uncommon that one team is 5/5, whereas the other is 1/5.

1. HR at its worst. Totally absent and when they appear they get everything worse. 2. Every year the company undergoes severe changes. A lot of layoffs. 3. Company promises you various benefits before joining but they do not deliver. 4. Unorganised with various problems. 5. Not any career development opportunity and below industry’s salaries. 6. High employee turnover 7. Not proper induction plan. The hire people and the first day they join they ask them for providing various reports. 8. The company wants to become an FMCG but mentality is pharma oriented.

Resistant to the changes despite company potential.

I worked at Pfizer/GSK/Haleon for many years, just about every year they hired dozens and let go of dozens. Really negatively impacted families that they brought in from out of state or out of the country to work, just to be let go. They care a lot about their products, but not their employees.
