Job security issues is compromised with completion of project

Contract position so job tenious

Cons were that it was such a big company that communication was pretty bad. Also, people were leaving and being hired at such a fast pace that the people I needed to get a hold of were gone. Also, the workload was not consistent and was either too high for comfort or there wasn't enough to do. It all depended on how much the sponsor sent us and for 6 months in a row we were overloaded. Finally, we were laid off abruptly after being transferred to a team to start working on another project. None of my managers knew supposedly so not much communication.

There are no disadvantages, but you can always find a better balance for your professional and personal life that is sometimes not well heard

promotions can take years... you have to really advocate for yourself it wont just happen based on merit.

Lack of transparency from senior leadership (but sometimes)

Lacks company culture overall, but can be supplemented by your team

No connection with the employee. Job security is not there

Don't offer enough support to new managers which can lead to chaos when employees get out of control and you're looking to management to lead or set boundaries

Their salesforce system is awful!!

Work is demanding and can sometimes be overwhelming.

Terrible work life balance due to mis planning of leaders. Un expected commitments to customers leads to confusion and long working hours

Very limited growth options, there is no consistent career path across the company. You can grow very fast in one team and can be stuck on the same position for multiple years, depending entirely upon the team you get hired into (citing budget constraints). Very frugal in in-house appraisals, there is no reward for good work and no ramifications for sub-par work, leaving ambitious and hard working employees feeling frustrated after some time.
