Very fast paced, no real time for a breath between calls, training did not prepare for all the situations.

We need to adapt well

low pay, sometimes they just put you in certain departments as an extra hand, depending on management you might not get the training u need

Management is trying to cut costs at the front line. There is no need for a middle manager, as that money could be spent on additional staff rather than being understaffed, which affects guest service.

They cut hours when occupancy is low

pay is pretty stingy, they have about a 15k salary range for the role which seems unreasonable for a management position. especially when they have no hesitation to continue adding on tasks for the role and not reflect it in the pay. favoritism runs rampant. leadership will NOT support you or have your back in a client dispute. they won't allow remote days for certain roles that are not customer facing and have no need to be on property, simply because of optics, resulting in resentment and limited work/life flexibility

Depending on who owns the structure/building. Staffing may be cut to meet certain expectations so your workload may be high.
