Many employees so you get lost in the mix and none of the higher ups remember your name.

Not renovated, don't have budget to fix some things so the front desk gets the complaints

Upper management is very ungrateful, will point out your mistakes even if you’re the best employee they have, there’s been times where I felt like i was not wanted by my front desk manager. They definitely play favorites and have cliques

Mindsets are shifting towards no longer taking care of your employees. Look back and read Sprit to Serve and look in the mirror when making decisions about layoffs and the impact to employees.

I feel like they want robots instead of actual human beings

Nothing was really bad, everything was okay.

As a black child you have to work 10 times harder than the white child just to be promoted to some junior position yet the Whites climb the ladder easily. They have created a group of inexperienced black employees who are earmarked for some senior positions just to cover up their deep rooted racism. It’s sad but hospitality in South Africa and in this organisation belongs to WHITES

Horrible manager named Patricia. Very disorganized, and also lies about the amount business picking up. For the longest time I was waiting for shifts and she kept me awol

Hotel discounts could be better but when you get them, it is a nice bonus

Minimal design consideration for employees tasked with providing memorable stay. Not enough parking, lockers, workspace, or training. Pay doesn't match expectations or cost of living.

No work/life balance, management quality is highly dependent on which property you work at, stress levels were high almost 24/7

Stressful Hard to move up in a single property

Terrible pay No leadership They love providing pizza parties or Uber eats cards rather than actually giving you more money
