Friendly environment to work along nice staff and managers.
Nothing much to say. Although further career development need more thought.
Finance executive
hotel stay benefits and food benefits
Overtime without pay and strict employee rules
F&b team member
Good discounts at other Marriotts.
Always understaffed, proactive staff get no recognition and lazy staff don't get reprimanded. Manager has favourites and HR won't do anything about it.
Staff accountant
Decent benefits and work life balance
Traveling to / from the city and city wage taxes
Social media manager
good for resume and visibility
work hours are not stable
Front desk agent
Loved working for the Marriott. Great team, great location and great benefits
While I truly enjoyed my time at the Marriott the only con that I could think of was that sometimes it was a challenge to get coverage on shifts for call outs but that’s to be expected with an operation that’s 24/7
Room service
You can improve yourself in there
Salary was so low at the beginning
Executive sous chef
Good benefits, good stuff for use
Other managers a lot of unnecessary meetings
Chef
Best management ever. Very helpful
No cons whatsoever. Helped me a lot
Group sales manager
The staff there was phenomenal as well as a clients. We did the best we could, but what we had.
Management company allowed the hotel to just fall apart. Owners never came to visit to see what the hotel look like
