Special events coordinator
Always room for growth in this company
not enough of a work life balance
Anonymous employee
Nice environment to work at
Lot of turnover at the property
They offer good benefits. Good health plan options, stocks, discounts for hotel stays.
This used to be a people-first company 5-10 years ago. It is now, like most big companies, extremely focused on growth. They are currently conducting a reorganization and are laying off 800+ associates.
Senior manager
Room discounts when you can find them, HQ is slick looking, good PTO, good Benefits,
People are "cogs", the open work plan is horrible and you have to be heads-down with headphones to get anything done when you are in, Cafeteria is $$$$, few areas for advancement (hiring freezes are constant and they keep trying to reduce headcount to manage Overhead costs), no daycare, leadership only cares about leadership, culture and values are all talk and don't really play out. You will work 50+hrs a week if you are lucky.

Its a very busy hotel, but there are very good structures in place. Great team ethic and they appreciate their staff. Managers are very much responsible for their Dept....wgaes, stock, staff, rosters etc. GM is supportive and is very fair.

no day is the same, you learn about other cultures, lunch provided, uniform/work attire dry cleaned
long hours, overtime as you have to manage your own workload, you can ask for help but others are in the same situation and you feel bad asking. Open door policy is a trick, as soon as you use it you are the problem that has to be eliminated.
