1. Good benefits. You get 500 monthly for phone bills, 1k annually for stuff related to work (mouse, working chair etc), and some other standard benefits. 2. Fast paced environment. Growing is fast as you are expected to work on as many projects as possible alone. Yes, alone :) Most people working solo instead of collaborating with each other, and expectations are high for everyone - hence you are forced to grow asap.
1. Extremely poor work-life balance - Fast paced but no proper management on employee's timeline. Employees are expected to handle as many projects as possible, with adhoc requests continue coming in as well but no extension on the timeline for initial projects. We don't simply get rest just because the CEO asked everyone to block the calendar, you still need to commit the timeline, answer calls after working hour, and work on your AL/ weekends/ holidays/ midnights. 2. Not a collaborative friendly environment. With the workload in the team, yet we are expected to work alone on multiple projects, because the team is so busy nobody can spend time to help each other. (Helping junior is definitely lower priority compare to committing project's timeline) Not all departments share the same culture, there are teams with healthy culture and friendly environment. For the one I referring to, would recommend to join if you don't mind working long hour, looking for challenge and wish to work independently. Otherwise, leave during probation.
