People are generally collaborative and intelligent. The company has a lot of growth potential. Benefits are great and the pay is competitive.
Some processes need improvement and others are quickly changing. Being flexible and adaptable is helpful. In some areas it can be hard to find growth opportunities within the company. Part of the problem is that some roles require additional technical product knowlege.

Work life Balance is best in AMD
No Cons at this point of time.
Financial analyst
Collaborating but challenging, competitive salary and perks
Hierarchical, top down communication. Remuneration may not be worth for the number of hats
Administrative
Have good benefits and flexibility
Management changing and it will decrease the benefit
Software system designer 2
Freedom to work on novel paradigms, intelligent and supportive teams.
Some of the worst compensation benefits compared to the competition. Feels like the work is not worth of the poor compensation.
Design engineer

No work life balance. Not much promotion.
Staff software engineer

Things were doing great in Xilinx and they still are in AMD. The company transition (I should say merge actually) went smoothless and AMD is a great place to work. Good people, good work/life balance, still great benefit, focus on results.
- some Share benefits quality slightly degraded from Xilinx ones - Working remotely is not considered the de-facto standard
