ZERO Development offered for remote employees - even those hired from outside of the industry. Management is weak.

Great people, who always help eachother.
None to speak about. Do not need to say.

Titles are made up so it is hard to tell from a job title your duties/pay so take that with a grain of salt but I like working here. Plenty of opportunities to move around to different areas within the company. Pay is fair. Workload is reasonable.
I'd have to nitpick to come up with a con. I've had issues but nothing that company-wide, honestly its not a bad place to work.
Senior video editor
- Great manager and team - Awesome work projects - Awesome people to work with - Solid pay and benefits
- DEI is getting better (a lot better than how it was when I first joined), but not quite there yet.

Plenty of growth opportunity in Upgrade Operations department, generally pleasant and collaborative colleagues, breadth/depth of technical knowledge of Astro system is an asset to other departments if looking for opportunities in other departments. Great department to start out in if early in career. The training process and team has improved since I joined 4 years ago.
Lots of travel can become tiring if scheduled back to back; about 2 weeks at a time per project. Can be hard to manage work/life balance. Agile team offers remote work, but workload can become overwhelming due to less available resources.
A company that practice positive environment and inclusive. I was happy when I first joined. Started off at a very good pace.
Read the Pros again. I said company, not department. I had to be the one who maintained all the positivity in there, wait till I left, all crumbles and the toxicity level increases. Then when the time goes by, when you are the brightest, most of the people tends to stab you at the back until you cant hold it anymore and leave on your own. Remember, HR is there to protect employees, not when you are the one leaving :) Oh and remember, some departments "skillsets" are not applicable in other companies, think twice before joining.
