Senior account manager
good PTO policy, co-workers are top notch, great technology, stable and headed in the right direction
lack of work life balance, poor compensation, erratic management, quick to suspend employee benefits when other companies are not doing the same
Business analyst
Supportive work environment, high level investment into human capital and skills development of employees. Inclusive work environment.
can not think of any
Account executive
Alot of openings to continue your climb
Lots of people work and don't know what the other person does so getting an interview and conveying your value is difficult
Junior software engineer
stable environment and supportive colleagues
pay not always is competetive
Engineer
Great work life balance and management.
None that I can think of.
Buyer ii
Good place to work, and learn corporate strategies.
Given the responsibilties they pay very less
Devops engineer
Excellent work life balance, Modernish tech stack, A good place to learn to engineer, follow a process, do structured work, learn and grow. A lot of veterans around who can mentor you. Interesting and Challenging problems to work on. Very well resourced company and will do everything they can to get you all the things you need to get your work done efficiently.
Compensation is below industry average. Growth and promotions are difficult and there is no clear career trajectory. VSA (Avigilon) org has had constant reorgs in the last couple of years which has caused some chaos. Office politics at the management level feels exhausting.
Benefits, positive culture, great working relationships and remote working
None to add here in my opinion
Senior software engineer
There is nothing pro in this company. This company shall not have software developers.
They only like people who talks a lot but work quality and ethics does not matter at all. Worst management to work for, Looks like all Indian tamil people are in management from manager to Sr. manager to Directory. They only promoted and appreciated only their people. How can an American company be so much biased to one community of leadership.
Senior account executive
This is a well respected company that continues to advance through acquisition of other companies. It has a stable base of customers by means of two way radios and continues to grow through other safety-related technology. The environment is mature and professional. A person can make a long lasting career here if they maintain performance in a role that is not otherwise eliminated.
The company has many complex processes that are burdensome and hinder daily activity. This is only made more difficult by the sheer amount of information that an account executive must learn due to the number of diverse technology that they must be prepared to discuss with their customers. The pay, although respectable, is less competitive than other companies who offer as much as 50% more salary and OTE. Commission is relative to a seller's percentage to quota attainment, not their gross sales. This means that a seller could outperform a previous year by millions of dollars in sales, but if the quota is too high, they will make less than previous years where a lower quota was attained. Advancing within the company may not necessarily be determined by ability, but often will be influenced by internal politics.
