tight schedule and lots of overtime

Sometimes there is too much bureaucracy because company is headquartered in Japan and trying to get things done in the USA is hard. Company keeps buying other companies so time is spent on intergrating companies rather than focusing on day to day tasks.

High workload are rewarded to top performer

There are too many middle managers and not enough workers. 4 layers of managers asking what you're doing. No future with this company. No sense of direction from CEO, all they do is acquire random companies and just layoff everyone eventually. Depressing company

1. Salary range is lower compared to market; Yearly increment is fixed rate if there is no jump rank 2. Carrier path promotion is slow 3. Very seldom organize team building activities for the employee 4. 10th year service awards being canceled

Not much career growth opportunities. Most of the time just follow instruction from Japan counterpart.

Too many: 1. No flexibility, partiality and unfair practices across levels 2. No recognition 3. No promotions 4. No increments 5. Below market comp & benefits 6. Poor benefits with no support to male employees 7. Forced work from office else termination punishment 8. Employee unfriendly policies 9. Worst HR team 10. Top Management is partial only to employees who give personal favors to them 11. Years of work, productivity, and loyalty is laughed at without any rewards. Unfair rewards given to under performers 12. No employee career advancement support / programs 13. Many many more… If you are looking for a career, stay away from Renesas.

Pathetic management .... Office politics .... KPI is not that important you achieve or not achieve your big boss have the final say.. Rigid working environment and non flexible working time Less importance to work -life balance ....
