Assistant manager
Great benefits, including healthcare, LTA, internal learning opportunities, transport, People Resource Groups, etc. Very collaborative, respectful, and professional work culture. Although team situations differ from Manager to Manager, it is very rare to find a toxic team environment. Opportunities to grow within the organization, make lateral movements between verticals.
Low starting salaries, leading to high attrition amongst starting levels. Most relevant skills not really transferable to other financial services firms. Low transparency during big organizational change management.
Senior sqa engineer
Hybrid work culture (2 days from office) B2B products - long lasting clients Market leader in some markets, Growth mindset Perks - OPD benefit, wellbeing allowance, internet allowance
Lots of layoffs on the name of cost cutting they removed the critical resources and retained the non performing one (if your terms are good with managers) lots of politics. You may find micro management mindset managers some times though that will come from top level.
Associate director
I worked in indices. It was great when I started, a very nice place to work. Lots of interesting projects, and decent compensation to start. Its a good place for earlier in your career, 2nd job or so, I learned a lot of valuable skills, and the managers let you try things without fear of being punished for failure.
Over time, the company began to focus more on cutting costs, and offshoring to cheaper locals. The layoffs started, and good colleagues were let go. Promotions, especially in NY, slowed down. There is a very narrow pyramid. It can be difficult to get to the next level, especially in New York.
Associate
Average Pay. Amazing work environment. Fantastic people. Global mindset.
Finding your 'fit' in the company is difficult.
