Constant restructuring: Every few months brings a new “realignment.” Most of these are thinly disguised cost-cutting moves that punish experienced staff and reward politics over performance. Leadership disconnect: Senior management appears out of touch with client realities and product lifecycles. Many of those making decisions have little to no experience with the actual platforms they oversee. No continuity: Nearly all of the capable and experienced colleagues who built client trust have left or been laid off. Most teams today are new faces trying to patch gaps they don’t fully understand. Divestiture chaos: With EDM and ThinkFolio now being sold off, the long-term vision is unclear. What’s left feels fragmented — a data and ratings company trying to act like a software business, but without conviction or consistency. Career stagnation: “Career mobility” exists only on paper. Unless you’re in the right geography or inner circle, don’t expect meaningful growth. Low morale and burnout: People are disillusioned, overworked, and under appreciated. Internal collaboration has been replaced with survival mode.
