Options to be permanently virtual (as long as you ok with accepting a lower salary) Always something new to learn
Since the new leadership took over, it’s clear that they are anti-American. There is little interest in hiring or promoting Americans. Layoffs are all in the USA. Almost all open positions are based in India. On top of that, layoffs are not performance based since they let go competent employees who do the work while the incompetent persist. The new leadership is completely inept when it comes to organic growth outside of Ratings since they have a track record of over relying on layoffs to prop margins. They also will buy companies but because they are inept when it comes to integrating those companies and leveraging the value of those companies, they rarely perform well. The only reason why Ratings is successful is because the Ratings industry is an oligopoly. On top of that, senior mgmt gaslights employees. The mid-year Vibe employee survey results just came in…naturally scores were abismal (particularly in North America). Executives are blaming ‘WFH’ as the reason why there were low scores when it came to feeling connected to the company. Completely ignoring that there are quarterly layoffs and people are overworked/overwhelmed because executives only cares about margins. There are more layoffs coming in August…likely before the Q3 earnings announcement. They do not care about employees…they will work people into the ground (particularly in the USA and London) to get what they want and then lay them off before quarterly earnings. They have had at least two data breaches b/c they over rely on India to manage security and tech. Somehow those data breaches went unnoticed… They often release broken product/features that hasn’t gone through the rigorous testing that I would expect a company like S&P Global to have.
