Senior associate
Not a very stressful environment
Night shifts at the company
Account manager
Good for learning about software sales
Lack of proper management of comp ay
Inside sales representative (bdr)
Great colleague, not much bureaucracy, good pay with decent benefits, get to learn many new things.
Big workload with understaffed condition. No clear direction from the higher-ups.
Management listens to you, but will not follow what was heard just put the employees opinions in trash
because of poor Work life balance , most of the employees leave the organisation.
Technical consultant
SoftwareOne is great place to work where you have a team of co-workers that are committed and helpful.
Could not think of anything.
Business development manager
Salary in general they pay well
Workload Management Company structure Harrasment
Associate consultant
Great working environment policies life balance
Poor Pay Grade compensation need to get better
Anonymous employee
Good team Work life balance Workshops

Sales representative
Unfortunately, very few. There were/ are a few decent people in the business who made life a little easier, particularly some who had been around for a long time
Senior leadership was awful. Very low EQ, a complete lack of empathy and no structure. Its why I left. I felt very strongly that the company was becoming worse on a day to day basis with the leadership completely out of touch with what was needed to get back on course. Although the private equity debacle was fun to watch from the sidelines it distracted the leadership who lost focus on what was important. I assume this is still going on and continues to distract?
Learned a lot of things about licensing purchasing
sometimes you got overtime work
Consultant
The best company to learn & grow.
I have not faced such scenario.
Project manager
Excellent hybrid working arrangements, people are great and very skilled.
SoftwareOne is not as big in Australia as it is elsewhere in the world.

Procurement specialist
Good work culture and growth
none as such for me
Still a number of good people working here
Lost our identity, short-termed vision
Outside sales representative
work hard play hard organization
Quotas could be tough at times to hit and you will feel some pressure
None aside from the discretionary PTO.
-Terrible management -Hostile work environment -Managers with no email or verbal etiquette -Sales team quite literally does not care if you live or die. Someone in a thread I was in passed away unexpectedly, and while I offered sympathies to our other colleagues, there was a salesperson who completely bypassed sympathy and demanded an update for the issue at hand. -No valuable or worthwhile training -Told less than a week ahead of time that no one in NORAM would receive bonuses, but salespeople still received their bonuses while the rest of us who do their jobs for them got nothing. -Management takes no accountability -5 manager changes and 4 title changes in two years - completely unstable. -Less than a 3% change in salary in 2 years.
Npo digital account manager
Nice environment, great coworkers and leaders, great training on Software.
Not organized and processes aren’t the best.
Aws consultant
SoftwareOne, great for those into professional services! Want to learn and grow within either of the cloud providers, MS license resale business, vmware,SAP, Oracle consulting. FinOps, Cybersecurity and many others across 98 countries and all customer verticals.
People are complacent, parts of the company is still with the old license selling mind-set. Part is moving extremely fast into selling AI & ML services via Cloud. So chose carefully.
perks, WFH, employee benefits, ESPP, RSUs
I don't find any, the company has recently transitioned a very big org structure change very smoothly.
Services
Not much good happening in this company.
The company in Australia is run by an absolute megalomaniac who is power hungry and has no clue about people management. Overall the company is managed as a franchise and strategy keeps changing every few months. With a new acquisition due to come onboard soon, leadership is scrambling to hold on to their seats and many good people have left or are being made redundant. Stay well clear if you are considering joining!
Country manager
Good place Good place Good place
Hardwork Hardwork Hardwork Hardwork Hardwork
Healthy work culture with competitive environment
Less clarity and lack of communication with leaders
Sales leader
Culture within the org. is world-class and SWO US is led by an incredible stable of driven and visionary individuals in the top leadership positions (Pres., RVPs, ASDs). While the sales org. is extremely competitive and very results-drive, that is true of most successful sales organizations and should be seen as a Pro to those who desire to be great in this field
Shared Services internally (systems, support, etc.) are in the midst of a "renovation" but you have to crack a few eggs to make a good omelet so I wouldn't consider these to be long term issues and I think you'd be hard pressed to find a company of this size where there weren't a few systems and processes that could benefit from such a makeover. At least SWO is investing in the improvement and the plan is well communicated to the field.
Senior procurement specialist
Good place to work and learn new things
Management people need to look after the employee.
Flexible schedule, hybrid, provided lunches, team trips
There's a lack of job security
Sr. talent acquisition partner
Great company, lot’s of trust and ability to build your career
Can be chaotic and fast paced
Senior consultant
I love my colleagues, and I get to work fully remotely
The board and management can't seem to agree on how to organise the company
Service delivery lead
The company has a clear vision, but the top level employees are not assigning KPIs. The HR role and presence are almost zero.
Hire and fire organization, They will hire you from top most companies,, assuring building castles in the air, but suddenly one day they will ask you to resign. I was settled in Accenture for seven long years, then, without investigation, joined SoftwareOne, and in one year asked one day to resign. No KPI measurement, No PIP, suggest better not to join.
Strategic account manager
Prior to 2017, I couldn't say enough about the culture and vision of the company. Best years of my career.
Rapid growth, acquisitions, going public and transforming rapidly introduced chaos and dysfunction, at least for a period of time. Hopefully, things have stabilized.

SoftwareOne is a melting pot of diverse and competitive individuals. With their open-door policy and portfolio of tech experts, the company thrives in ever-changing industries.
The company thrives in a cutthroat industry but it still manages to come up on top.
work culture is very good
now a day focused on cost cutting
- Our innovative approach to selling software that separates us from other partners. Specifically SoftwareOne's Marketplace, which is the Amazon equivalent of buying software online. - My colleagues are a joy to work with and beside. We have a mindshare approach that allows us to enable each other and ourselves from within. - The leadership that we have in office and across the country will inspire and drive you to reach your goals.
We are currently enhancing our operating procedures and finding any knots to undo within the business. Doing so also brings growing pains. In the end, this is for the best and SoftwareOne's future success.
Applications developer
- Nice colleagues - Opportunity for growth
- Though projects - Low salary
Challenging work and projects. Will keep you on your toes.
Management can sometime lose their vision and pressure comes on technical team

Till I haven’t shared anything since everything perfect for me
Very good at work/life balance, remote/hybrid work and you barely see your colleagues personally, so teamwork goes great. Great benefit package.
Very busy periods, especially when aquire new companies.
