Career progression is almost non-existent (unless your face fits!) and good work is only acknowledged if senior management have left enough room for you in the allotted annual bonus scheme. This is an organisation that cares more for preaching about how much it cares for employee wellbeing than actually doing so. Ticking boxes and meeting quotas are priorities, while managing demanding workloads and stress levels come in a distant second. The endlessly recycled corporate messaging is one of tolerance and the aim of fostering an honest, open workspace, but the reality is anything but. Potential future employees will need to know how to play the corporate game to have any hope of career progression.
