Systems are old and clunky. Instead of having 1 singular system, it’s spread over multiple which is confusion and wastes time. Also no room for pay increases, which doesn’t reflect the current market in this field.

It gets very busy at times

Commuting was frustrating due to transit delays.

very white and very male. the company still has over 20% gender pay gap and not many females in senior roles.

Location is not very good

Slow decision making, management can be sketchy

Hard to progress. Micro management. Very busy and repetitive. High staff turnover reducing ability to progress as always under pressure for the basics

C level mgmt focused for years on cost cutting / control, leads to slow hiring with amount of work constantly growing

Location can be tricky for north side residents

HR policies can be like hurdles to navigate - insistence on return to office but I guess this is not unique to Zurich. Management culture could be better - not too interested in the 'why' of missing performance targets if it's to do with personal life or their own agreed upon work policies (like RTO). North Sydney location is a bit more tricky to get to if you're coming in from the suburbs.
