The Account Executive (New Business Sales) role at Cognizant focuses on targeting new business opportunities within the Manufacturing, Logistics, Automotive, E&U, Retail, Consumer Goods, and Travel & Hospitality sectors. This position involves selling a comprehensive suite of services including Digital, Data, AI, and Cloud solutions to 10-15 targeted accounts, primarily geographically aligned but possibly including marquee accounts outside Sweden. The role requires collaboration with Client Partners, sales support teams, and offshore marketing groups to drive new logo acquisition and business growth.
Demonstrable track record in new business or net new logo sales for a large Tier 1 or Tier 2 Global Systems Integrator.
Experience working alongside and building relationships within major Manufacturing, Logistics, E&U, Retail, Consumer Goods and Travel & Hospitality organizations.
Experience working for a Global Services Firm with onshore, nearshore and offshore capabilities.
Knowledge and experience selling services including Digital, Data, Cloud, Consulting and application modernization.
Demonstrable success selling multi-million, multi-year deals.
Demonstrable consecutive quarterly and yearly quota achievement in complex selling environments utilizing a solution selling model.
