Role Summary
The Admin/Operations Assistant is responsible for assisting in the overall operation administration of the airport. This role encompasses various tasks related to terminal, landside, and airside operations to ensure compliance with regulations and procedures.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in daily inspections and administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the airport. You will work closely with various teams to maintain safety and efficiency in all areas of the airport environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform regular inspections on runway, taxiway, and apron to ensure safe aircraft movement.
- Report any irregularities and defects to relevant units immediately.
- Ensure no obstructions to aircraft and vehicle movement in the movement area.
- Maintain visibility and good condition of markings, signs, and related facilities.
- Ensure surfaces are clean and free from foreign object debris (FOD).
- Monitor cleanliness standards in the terminal building and ensure compliance by cleaning contractors.
- Inspect and enforce cleanliness and orderliness in the landside area.
Job Requirements
Diploma or degree in a relevant field.
Experience in airport operations or administration is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
Good communication skills in English.
Ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
