Job Description
This role is for a Junior Application Maintenance/Production Support Engineer within the GIPS - SBE Build sub-domain. The engineer will be responsible for monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining enterprise applications running on Linux-based platforms and middleware technologies such as RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka. The role involves supporting incident resolution, performance optimization, and ensuring system stability with minimal downtime.
Job Requirements
Ability to monitor and support Linux-based applications on RHEL, JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
Ability to troubleshoot application, middleware, and database issues in Oracle and MySQL.
Skills in incident management, root cause analysis, and system recovery.
Ability to optimize Unix scripts and SQL queries for improved performance.
Experience supporting deployment and patching activities for middleware and applications.
Ability to work closely with development and infrastructure teams to resolve issues.
Understanding of system health, security, and compliance with company standards.
