Job Description
The AS/400 COBOL Application Developer will work independently and as part of a team in a dynamic environment focused on building and enhancing software solutions. Daily tasks include configuring, testing, and supporting software applications, ensuring smooth deployment and functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build and configure packaged software and Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
- Test new components and enhancements to existing applications.
- Utilize declarative features to develop new functionalities.
- Provide primary support for application releases into production.
- Plan and schedule deployment activities.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Document processes and maintain application support materials.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
Experience with AS/400 and COBOL programming.
Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) products.
Strong problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
