This role is for a Business Development Manager within the café and catering sector focused on developing and implementing business plans to achieve sales targets and growth. The position involves managing sales pipelines, maintaining relationships with key accounts, and collaborating with various teams to support strategic business objectives.
This role involves developing and implementing business plans to achieve sales targets and growth objectives within the café and catering channel. The position includes identifying new business opportunities, managing sales pipelines, maintaining long-term relationships with key accounts, distributors, and food service partners, and conducting market analysis and competitor benchmarking to support strategic decisions. Collaboration with marketing, trade, and culinary teams is required to develop channel-focused promotional activities and menu applications. The incumbent will monitor and evaluate sales performance metrics, budgets, and forecasts to ensure targets are met, provide customer and market feedback for new product development, and ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and brand guidelines.
Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Food Science, or a related field.
2–3 years of working experience in Food Service, HORECA, or B2B Sales (FMCG or Food Ingredient industry preferred).
Proven track record in Sales Target Achievement and Customer Relationship Management.
Strong skills in Market Analysis, Strategic Planning, and Statistical Reporting.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities.
Self-driven, analytical thinker with strong teamwork and adaptability skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CRM tools.
Possess a valid driving license and willing to travel when required.
