Role Summary
The Deputy General Manager of Marketing is responsible for leading and overseeing marketing operations in the oil palm plantation and agriculture sectors. This role significantly impacts market expansion and stakeholder relationships within the Malaysian palm oil industry.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day operations that involve strategic planning and collaboration with various stakeholders. You will work closely with the headquarters team in China to ensure alignment on technical developments and market strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead marketing operations across Malaysia.
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders in the palm oil industry.
- Gather and analyze market needs and industry pain points.
- Coordinate technical development efforts with the headquarters team in China.
- Develop market expansion strategies tailored to the Malaysian market.
- Achieve sales targets and ensure successful project implementation.
- Monitor industry trends and adjust strategies accordingly.
Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree or above in Marketing, Business Administration, Agricultural Management, or related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in market development or business expansion.
At least 3 years of management experience in the palm oil industry or agricultural management platforms.
Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Malay.
Ability to liaise effectively with the headquarters team in China.
