The Developer - SBE Post Build GIPS is responsible for supporting the deployment, maintenance, and troubleshooting of applications and middleware platforms. This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability and optimize performance in production and post-build environments.
Job Description
As a Junior Developer in the GIPS - SBE Post Build sub-domain, you will engage in day-to-day activities that include supporting various middleware platforms and applications. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork and problem-solving.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support deployment and maintenance of applications and middleware platforms.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application and middleware issues on RHEL.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system stability.
- Optimize performance of middleware platforms such as JBoss and WebLogic.
- Conduct system monitoring and performance tuning.
- Develop and optimize Unix scripts for automation.
- Assist in root cause analysis and incident resolution with senior engineers.
Job Requirements
Experience level of 3-5 years as a Junior Linux/Middleware Engineer.
Knowledge of middleware platforms such as JBoss, WebLogic, MQ, and Kafka.
Proficiency in troubleshooting on RHEL and related platforms.
Basic skills in automation and system monitoring.
Understanding of system security and compliance.
