Role Summary
The Developer - Silverlake BWC - Core Banking is responsible for supporting the development and enhancement of the Silverlake Core Banking System. This junior-level position focuses on working in AS400 environments using RPG, contributing to system changes, and supporting deployment automation within a DevOps framework.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day development tasks, collaborating with various teams to enhance the Bankwide Customer File module. You will work in a dynamic environment that emphasizes teamwork and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the development and enhancement of the Silverlake Core Banking System.
- Collaborate with analysts and QA teams to validate business requirements.
- Develop and maintain programs related to the Bankwide Customer File (BWC) module.
- Participate in bug fixes, enhancements, and minor change requests.
- Assist in deployment automation using ALDON.
- Engage in DevOps pipelines and deployment processes.
- Adhere to coding standards and documentation procedures.
Job Requirements
Experience in AS400 environments using RPG programming language.
Knowledge of software deployment processes.
Basic troubleshooting skills for testing and implementation phases.
Ability to work under supervision and collaborate with teams.
Experience level appropriate for a junior developer with 3 to 5 years in the domain.
