The Engineer III, Customer Service role involves providing timely and effective technical support for end-users onsite, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and connectivity issues. This role includes installing, configuring, and upgrading desktop computers, laptops, and peripheral devices, deploying devices to new joiners, collecting devices from resigned staff, performing routine maintenance, system updates, and security patches, assisting with software installations and application support, maintaining IT asset records, educating users on best practices, collaborating with the ICT team on complex issues, ensuring compliance with ISMS policies, and professionally communicating with users throughout issue resolution.
Ability to provide technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
Experience in installing, configuring, and upgrading computers and peripheral devices.
Capability to perform routine maintenance, system updates, and security patches on end user devices.
Skill in assisting employees with software installations, updates, and application support.
Competence in maintaining accurate records of IT assets and service activities.
Ability to educate users on best practices for hardware and software use.
Experience collaborating with ICT team members to escalate and resolve complex technical issues.
Knowledge of ISMS policies and data security protocols.
Strong communication skills to respond professionally to user requests and guide them to prevent future issues.
