Role Summary
The Tax Consultant is responsible for supporting the design to deploy phases of a large-scale SAP S/4HANA implementation with a focus on Indirect Tax aspects. This role involves collaboration with tax, finance, and compliance stakeholders to ensure adherence to both global and local tax requirements.
Job Description
In this role, you will engage in day-to-day activities that involve working closely with various stakeholders to ensure the SAP system aligns with tax compliance needs. You will be part of a dynamic team that supports automation of statutory reporting and manages e-invoicing obligations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the design and deployment phases of SAP S/4HANA implementations.
- Collaborate with tax, finance, and compliance stakeholders to meet tax requirements.
- Implement automation for statutory reporting processes.
- Manage e-invoicing obligations effectively.
- Configure tax procedures, codes, and jurisdictional structures in SAP S/4HANA.
- Develop and execute test plans for tax configurations and reporting.
- Assist in deployment activities including cutover and go-live preparation.
Job Requirements
Experience with SAP S/4HANA Finance.
Knowledge of tax compliance processes.
Familiarity with Indirect Tax, including VAT, GST, and Sales & Use Tax.
Understanding of SAP Document and Reporting Compliance (DRC).
Knowledge of integration with third-party tax engines such as Vertex, Avalara, or Sovos.
Ability to implement global and country-specific tax reporting needs.
