The Global Meeting Compliance and Disclosure Senior Specialist is responsible for ensuring compliance with EFPIA and local transparency reporting guidelines within the company's Business Services Centers. The role involves managing Indirect Transfer of Value activities, maintaining data accuracy for transparency reports, and collaborating with international teams under the guidance of the Global Meeting Compliance & Disclosure Manager.
The Global Meeting Compliance and Disclosure Senior Specialist plays a critical role within the company's Business Services Centers, partnering with various stakeholders to support compliance with EFPIA and local transparency reporting guidelines. This position is responsible for managing Indirect Transfer of Value activities, ensuring data accuracy and completeness for transparency reports, and optimizing the quality and delivery of the Global Meeting Compliance & Disclosure Team's outputs. The role involves collaboration with international teams and reporting to the Global Meeting Compliance & Disclosure Manager within the Business Process Excellence Area of Practice under Global Business Solutions.
Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Science, Economy, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines is required.
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in compliance, financial reporting, accounts payable, finance, or business administration.
Strong knowledge of EFPIA Code, local transparency regulations, and pharmaceutical industry compliance standards.
Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power Apps, Power BI, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
Ability to speak, read, and write in English and/or Mandarin; additional proficiency in Japanese, Korean, French, or Spanish is advantageous.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in English suited for interaction with all management levels.
Interpersonal and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and process improvement orientation.
Basic understanding and practical knowledge of finance-related processes.
Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
Positive, proactive attitude with problem-solving and analytical skills.
Capacity to maintain focus and operate independently during change or uncertainty.
Customer service mindset and ability to prioritize and build rapport with stakeholders.
Preferred experience with SAP (including Employee Expense Management, Shopping/Purchase Order, Vendor Master Data, and Payment Portal Requests), Medispend, Veeva, CVENT, Engagezone, and Domo.
Familiarity with internal controls, process standardization, and most meeting types including congresses/conventions, travel, and payments.
Added advantage with skills in Lean Six Sigma, Marco, Power BI, and Automation UI path.
Demonstrated professionalism, meticulousness, and attention to detail in interactions with colleagues, clients, and suppliers.
