Role Summary

The Human Resources Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring that day-to-day HR processes run smoothly and comply with company policies and Malaysian labour laws.

Job Description

In this role, you will engage in various HR activities, ensuring efficient operations within the HR department. You will work closely with team members to facilitate recruitment, onboarding, and employee management tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in posting job advertisements and coordinating interviews.
  • Screen resumes and schedule interviews with hiring managers.
  • Prepare offer letters, employment contracts, and onboarding documents.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding, including document collection, system setup, and orientation schedules.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee personal files (physical and digital).
  • Update HR systems and trackers such as leave, attendance, and employee database.
  • Ensure confidentiality and proper handling of employee information.
  • Assist in preparing HR reports, letters, and internal communications.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.

Familiarity with Malaysian labour laws and HR best practices.

Previous experience in an HR role is an advantage.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
