The Internship - Internal Audit is responsible for assisting in the evaluation of internal control systems and risk management processes. This role provides valuable support to the audit team and contributes to the overall effectiveness of the internal audit function.
Job Description
The Internal Audit Intern will engage in day-to-day activities that involve reviewing and assessing various internal processes within the organization. The intern will work closely with the Audit Manager and team members to ensure compliance and efficiency in audit operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in executing audit assignments to evaluate internal controls.
- Conduct systems reviews to identify areas for improvement.
- Document audit findings and prepare reports for management.
- Support the Audit Manager during exit meetings with stakeholders.
- Contribute to achieving audit team KPIs through active participation.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the audit team.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance audit processes.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a bachelor's degree or professional qualifications in accountancy, finance, IT or related fields.
Demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills, including writing skills.
Possess a positive attitude and a hardworking nature.
Exhibit good analytical skills.
