This role is for a Senior Quantity Surveyor responsible for managing costs, contracts, and payments related to projects. The position involves working with clients, design teams, and stakeholders to ensure projects are completed within budget and contractual requirements.
The role involves attending client and project meetings and negotiations, preparing tender documentation, processing supplier claims and contractual payments, and handling cost estimation and preparation of variations to clients. The position also includes final account administration, monitoring monthly progress, settling variation orders with clients and sub-contractors, contract administration, and working closely with the Interior Design and Sales team.
Degree, Diploma, or Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Building Technology.
Minimum 4-5 years of experience in the related field such as interior design, renovation, or construction in commercial buildings.
Understanding of contractual terms and processes.
Familiarity with project costing and pre and post contract administration with good knowledge of laws.
Good communication skills and ability to liaise with consultants and sub-contractors.
Proficient in spoken and written English.
Possession of own transport.
