Manager – Malaysia Airports

The Manager - Operation Analytics & Planning is responsible for leading the establishment and daily operations of the Ops Planning & Analytics (OPPA) unit. This role drives data-informed capacity planning and analysis to support evidence-based operational decisions across KLIA.

In this role, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the OPPA unit, focusing on capacity planning and analytics to enhance operational efficiency. You will work in a dynamic environment, collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and continuous improvement of OPPA's planning frameworks, analytical models, and reporting infrastructure.
• Oversee capacity vs. demand analysis across terminal operational areas including check-in, screening, gates, and baggage.
• Drive dynamic manpower deployment planning in coordination with respective operations leads and HC.
• Establish and maintain the operational performance and analytic dashboards and reporting cycles.
• Manage and mentor OPPA team members, building unit capability over time.
• Serve as primary interface between OPPA and senior operations leadership, translating analytical findings into decision-ready recommendations.
• Coordinate with relevant stakeholders on data access, pipeline development, and system integration.
• Support preparation of management decks, briefing materials, and strategic updates for management.
• Lead benchmarking exercises and best practice adoption from comparable airports.
• Monitor implementation of planning recommendations and track outcomes.
