Job Description
The Network Engineer will engage in day-to-day operations involving the management of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, and firewalls. The work environment is dynamic, requiring collaboration with various IT teams and vendors to address network issues and enhance performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement and maintain LAN/WAN infrastructure, including routers and switches.
- Support L1 and L2 teams during network outages.
- Coordinate with vendors to resolve network issues.
- Deploy and manage firewalls to ensure network security.
- Test new network setups and configurations.
- Plan project timelines for network upgrades and changes.
- Maintain security documentation and technical drawings.
- Manage cloud networking solutions in AWS and Azure.
Job Requirements
Strong understanding of routing and switching protocols and technologies.
Experience with network infrastructure hardware such as routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers.
Knowledge of network security practices and firewall management.
Familiarity with ITSM tools for incident, change, and asset management.
Good planning and project management skills.
Ability to research and propose network changes and solutions.
